The streets sparkle like silver
now that the rain has changed into snow
I could see a dazzling future the color of a dream
that Christmas Day
I looked at you and smiled
on that holy night,
yet your tears overflowed
"I'll love you forever..." So why?
Now the dancing snow is starting to disappear
I look up at the distant sky
Someone new is waiting for me,
but I still harbor those feelings that I can't shake
We used to laugh together back then;
we weren't afraid of anything
But I hurt your gentle spirit
that Christmas Day
Now I'm wandering aimlessly,
searching for those hopes and dreams
The sky I gaze up at
is too big for me to grasp
even if I were able to reach it So Why?
Now the dancing snow is starting to disappear
I'll take the unwavering feelings of that time
and go forth into a new tomorrow,
because we can't go back to that story
As I keep on walking, I can't help but wonder
as the snowflakes melt in my outstretched hand
if maybe someday we'll meet again
and finally be able to tell each other how we really feel
little miss.

Blogger is making my blood boil. Of all the times it has to have problems, it happens right now, when I desperately need to change my skin. Having to stare at the same skin day by day is really getting kind of...well, dull. Not to say htat it isn't a nice skin, it is! But it does have it's limitations.
Looks like I have to hunt for more tomorrow morning then. I am forced to sleep not because I need it, but because I am using the laptop with very minimum light here. Turning the hall lights on is not the greatest idea as that would mean that I'm still wide awake, and who knows what will happen to me then.
Woke up early this morning Was stuck down to the bed I dragged myself to start my day And a hard pain pierced my head
Woke up early this morning Was stuck down to the bed Homework starts pouring in Oh wow, another five more days
Five more days till the end of freedom My...wonderful freedom Five more days, just five more days Till all hell breaks loose
Five more days till it all ends My... wonderful freedom Five more days, just five more days Till all hell breaks loose
Oh, how I wish tomorrow never comes How I wish that, oh how I wish... But it will never come through looking at the black sky, wishing with all my might
Wishing upon that glowing star that falls down at the stroke of midnight leaving behind what seems to be A bright glowing scar
And so...
Five more days till the end of freedom My...wonderful freedom Five more days, just five more days Till all hell breaks loose...
Woke up early this morning Was stuck down to the bed I dragged myself to start my day and oh wow, another five more days...
Argh. I woke up today with a terrible muscle ache affecting both my arms. It hurts so much to stretch them. Once again, after setting countless alarms to get myself off the bed, it took me an hour and forty minutes to finally get up. I was awake(more or less) through out the whole time but the bed felt so good...
Ever since Sunday school ended, my alarms on Sundays are so messed up. I woke up at intervals of five minutes starting from 7.50am, according to the usual timing. Then I just lazed around until I have just enough time to prepare and get to church right before service started. It was kind of awkward to just walk into the room just before service started, like seriously. It's just, all...so weird.
Speaking about service, today was the last service of the year. It was all too fast for me. A year has passed in a blink of an eye. Testimonies were shared, about how much they grew over the years. Seeing myself, I think I hardly grew at all. Not physically, I mean. SPIRITUALLY. Learning how to open up is not an easy task. Neither is striking up a conversation with someone an easy task too. Finding topics to talk about may be a piece of cake for you, but for me, it's like climbing Mt. Everest. Well, not to that extent, but you get what I mean.
Seeing how people, you and me alike seem to do that effortlessly makes me jealous. How can one do that so easily?
...
Service was great, but it seems that my mind's like a blank most of the time. Like it is now. Darn. Black out. I can't remember. ): Goodnight world.
For the past who knows how long... I haven't been doing much, honestly speaking. All I wanted was to complete Devil May Cry 3 before school starts on the 2nd of January, or else I would fail at getting my priorities right. Other than that, it was more of reading and tonnes of goofing off, so it may seem. Waking up early hardly bothers me but what does is that I can never wake up on time. Lets say...about half an hour to get drag myself off the bed? Other than that, I'm fine.
Oh, and there's still some in completed tuition homework to be done and of course, a very later Birthday present which turned into a Christmas cum birthday present, which again, turned into a Birthday, cum Christmas, cum New Year's gift. Heh. Sorry about that, Twinie. I miss you to bits. Finally after getting started on Ice-kun's Birthday gift which is who knows how late, did I realized that the more or less quite awesome(to me that is) drawing skills have dropped quite a bit. You could call it a landslide, although an avalange is still quite far off. Fortunately. (:
Well, other than tuition homework, DMC 3 and gifts, that sort of wraps up the remaning of my five days until school reopens, and all hell is let loose. Secondary four. Darn, I feel old already just by typing it out. So what? I'm afraid of growing up, but the wonders of what the future holds for me is too much to endure. Plus, I can't really travel to Neverland(and see the oh-so-hot Jeremy Supter who plays Peter) and not grow up. It hardly even exists, only in a child's mind.
Five more days and school reopens. Oh the joy. Anyhoo, today was great(Heh.)! We had out Sunday school outing today. Sure, it could have been better but it was great, a very good experience for me. A follower stepping out to try and become a leader, for once. Oh, and I finally know why the YM-ers absolutely love playing Chapteh. :D You have got to play it to believe it.
Thanks to dear Su and family for providing dinner and a good movie to go with it. (: SPECIAL thanks to all who came down for the outing, cause without all of you, the outing couldn't have been possible. And, an even MORE SPECIAL THANKS to my partners in crime( and soya bean drinking ;D), ALICIA and HUI QI! Who had put in a lot of effort through the meetings on Sundays and mini discussions via sms. :D
Great friends indeed. Well, I got to go. Goodnight world! Cheers! :D (Tomorrow is GREEN day! So, YM-ers! wear green!)
As long as I don't blog, as long as I don't speak, as long as stick to staying away from the computer this week. No one would know anything about what I have been doing, or, what have I been thinking. Neither would they want to care, or to see how I would fare. For they have much better things to do, as many said countless times.
BEEP! MANSAE! SHI TOU! INCORNITO! ( I know I got the spelling wrong. Anyone care to correct it? Heh.)
The names you see above are the oh-so-awesome names of the four fabulously fantastic groups of iINC camp! :D
Kind of mentally drained now, so I'll post about it ... soon. Overall, the camp was great! A big "THANK YOU!" to all camp committee members for all their hard work that they put in during this six months of preparation. :)
No doubt, there would be some form of structured experience for all our camps. The structured experience went well and I could really felt what the other campers felt even though I was watching their every step. The part that scared me most was the car park scene when Leonard counted down silently and started the 'hell' with a loud smack of his slipper on the ground. The volunteers who came to help really did a great job in making it sound so real. even I, who was watching the whole process, was afraid. Very afraid. My heart rate increased during that moment and I could feel the tears building up. Thanks to mind over matter, I did not shed even a single tear. Although I couldn't really participate, the whole experience was indeed a time of reflection for me.
And for those who were feeling unwell after the structured experience due to the cold weather, we tried our best to warm you. (:
): Loveholic just ended yesterday. Oh well, a happy ending, just as I expected. As for the other Korean show, I'm still watching it but if I watch that, then I can't catch the seven o'clock show on channel U. The one with Pan Wei Bo as Tang Men. Heh.
Started my day off with a visit to the Orthodontist, followed by having a heck of a good time bashing demons until around noon, then I went the Macs at the entertainment Center for a meeting. After which, I dropped by Popular to get some things needed to wrap the Christmas present. Eclipse wasn't even in sight. Sad. Oh, and having more than $3 made my day as it meant that I could stop by Faceshop for the who knows how many times and get myself another bottle of nail polish. ;D BUT, that money was for dinner so I had to restrain myself from stepping into Faceshop.
Dang, I wished I bought that brown one in Korea. After all, it is cheaper there and I saw the colours that I wanted.
OH! SPEAKING OF POPULAR... After getting the things needed for the Christmas presents, I headed to the back to check the cost of Eclipse, only to find out that it was not even there. Then there were these two skinny boys dressed in simple shirt and knee length shorts were sitting on the floor, leaning against the shelves reading One Piece comics(It's not even that nice). How inconsiderate. Not only that, when I was looking for some interesting book, the boy nearest to me whispered something to his buddy and snickered. I bet it was something like why the heck am I here at the comics section.
Hello?! Earth you and your annoyingly retard friend, I read manga too, and I watch anime. Like that is so not a boy thing anymore.
Feeling much better now after I got it off my chest.
Hmmm....Devil May Cry 3! Yes, I'm currently stuck at mission five where I just unlocked the path way on level two. I'm very proud of myself that I managed to level up the Trickster style. :D Although, I still can't quite pull off the double dash. Dante is HOT. Heh. The starting cut scene thing was the bomb. It caught me by surprise, no doubt about that. It is just so insanely cool.
How about this, I'll just put the video up here. Enjoy. :D
Heh. Well, the starting is the intro, about Vergil and Dante. Sad, Vergil won and Dante lost. ): Honestly, I couldn't tell them apart when they were fighting in the rain. Only when I noticed the colour difference between the coats and when Vergil made his hair did I notice that Dante lost. D:
Argh. Online guidebook here I come. Followed by packing for camp iinc. :D
Lyna has been gaming lately and it seems that she won't be coming online for a while. Recently, her dad just reminded her again how amazingly awesome the game, Devil May Cry 3 is and so she has decided to give it a try. Also, her dad bought another copy of Kingdom Hearts but she is reluctant to play it again. It's not because she doesn't like that game, but she finds it very time consuming and irritating to have to check the online guidebook for help.
Even if she doesn't need it now, the time will come sooner or later. However, she decided that she is going to play the game until she needs that guidebook, then she'll stop. Being able to almost lock the first world, Wonderland, she is feeling rather proud of herself and is surprised that she even needed the help of the guidebook the previous time.
Still, she can't seem to get her hands off Devil May Cry 3 and managed to complete the second mission on record time, earning an 'A' for Timing and also an 'A' for Stylish Points once she got the hang of the controls. Overall earning herself a hunter ranking of 'A' with yet another 3,000 bonus points, with an extra 1,000 points with each boss defeated. Thanks to the number of Stylish Points earned, she managed to learn a couple of new skills and is enjoying while she lashes them out on the unsuspecting demons. With guns, swords and demons, what more does she needs to have fun? But, she is annoyed by the fact that the number of red orbs needed to purchase a small Vital Star(which is used to restore a small amount health) increases with every purchase.
From a cheap price of 250 red orbs to a costly price of 1000 over orbs. Thanks to that, she doubts she can upgrade her weapons and learn more abilities in time to defeat Cerberus(without spilling much blood), the three headed dog from hell or worst, Vergil. Who just happens to look a tad bit like Sephiroth and is Dante's(the main character of DMC 3) brother. Although the fight with Vergil may be very far off, but she thinks that it would be best to be prepared first.
Changing the controls may be tempting, but it would make it harder for her to execute the desired moves when the tutorial teaches her a new one. After realizing that she got the L1 and R1 buttons mixed up, she finally manage to get Dante doge rolling when needed. She stabbing a demon a million times seems cool but being able to finally do it is even cooler.
Aahh, the wonder of such games. Gory and sadistic, just how she likes it.
Heh. Third person. Anyhoo, I'll be either gaming or trying to finish Eclipse up before the camp starts this Wednesday and boy, am I excited for it. I just hope that my brother remembers to get the packing list for me. Cheng Yi needs it more than I do. (: Oh, and I need to change my shirt size before I forget. Size M might be good, since XS is too short and S might not be of much difference.
Cheers! Just reading up a little more on Eclipse before I hit the pillows. (: Goodnight world!
I woke up way eraly today cause I thought that the dental appointment was today, at 8am.I told my Umma to confirm again, just in case I got it wrong. Which I did. So, we ended up eating breakfast together. I felt like a stuffed turkey after that. I had a bowl of noodles, an egg(the watery kind), two pieces of bread and 3/4 cup of tea. Or maybe just slightly more than half a cup. Anyway, you get what I mean. STUFFED.
Dropped my Umma off at my uncle's place, then Appa said that he would fetch me back to Macs at the entertainment center, Toa Payoh. Rachel then cancelled out on me. we were suppose to do the board today but she had something on. oh well, another time then. While waiting for the rest to come, I read Twilight and Finally finished the book for the second time IN A ROW. Had a meeting on CCA orientation in the third or maybe forth week of school. After that, I went to another table for another meeting regarding the Globak Village project, aka GVP. I want to get the belly dancing costume! I think belly dancing is just oh-so-cool. XD
Well, we confirmed the dates on where, when and what, then we headed off on our seperate ways. Xiao Hui and I went to school, but stopped by Faceshop while I get myself a nail buffer. The lady greeted me with "Annyonghasaeyo!" and I replied with "Ne, annyonghasaeyo!" and of course, thanked her with "Kamsahamnida." :D Walked back to school and was surprised that they changed the security guard. I like her. :D She is so friendly! she evn smiled and asked us politely what were we oing to school for. And I thought we would get that grumpy, balding security guard, who scolded Rachel and I for not being in the proper attire. D:
We got our books, and walked to just before the underpass and said our good byes. I rushed to the FBT shop to check up on some things regarding the shirt. :) On the way to the FBT shop, I stopped by Faceshop once more, and the lady greeted me again. We exchanged our greetings(but I doubt she knows what I'm saying), after which looked around for the dark brown nail polish, but it looks like they don't have it in this branch. I bought a shinier, similar colour. :) Since I decided to skip lunch I had more money then. I felt a little hungry, so I settled with a packet of Milo from the mama shop at the void deck of the block opposite mine.
Then I went home and have been using the laptop since then. The laptop was being crappy by hanging and stuff.):
Restless Vampire by morning, Hungry Zombie by night.
Now, lets just back it up a little to yesterday. (: WE HAD OUR MINI ECHO AT SENTOSA! I know, it's a rocking awesome event, even though it IS really mini. Jie Ying, Torsten, Weien, Eugene, Isaiah, Abigail, Yunjie, Tuck Yan, Issac, Yong Jing, Caleb, one more person plus myself went for the Mini Echo. Heh, sorry if I forgot your name. ^^"
It started off with waiting for them it arrive at..okay, no. It started off at 6.30 am, the time I woke up. HAHAHA. Then I had breakfast with my parents, collected money from the sec threes for the shirt and had my daddy to fetch me to Vivo City. The first person to reach was obviously me, followed by Abby and then Isaiah and of course, the da shao ye, Caleb. HAHAH. Then Abby and I were saying how tall both Caleb and Isaiah became. ): I feel short.
While Abby and I went to the restroom, Caleb and Isaiah went to buy our entry ticket, card...whatever you call it and were being childish by buying the child ticket for themselves and the adult ones for us. Apparently it was a failed attempt to make us feel old. HAHAHA. The ticket was three bucks! Hella cheap yo. After that we headed off to the sentosa express thing and Caleb was like talking about how much money he had, etc. So that's why he's called da shao ye. XD OH! And he kept emo-ing! ):
Then Tuck Yan came, followed by Jie Ying(She brought her sunnies too! :D) and Issac! Heh. I was hella bored after playing frizbee and volleball which I totally suck at. So, I went to make my oh-so-famous sandballs and tossed the first one at Caleb who was emo-ing by the pile of sand. Rigth at his knee and his reaction was like, ow ow ow ow and ow. XD My next victim was Tuck Yan, and the ball hit him smack in the stomach. OUCH. HAHAH. He then beat to making a sandball and threw it hard ON MY BACK YO. ): OUCHIES. I didn't care about the pain. Infact it lasted for only a few seconds after the uncountable 'ow's. What worried me was that if there was a lot of sand on my back. I mean, I was wearing a WHITE spag top after all.
I tried throwing mine at him, but he dodged it. Dang. While I was making my third one, he thought I was stupid and that I didn't see him with a sandball on hand. Without warning, he launched it was me, somewhere below my shoulder. The pain was bearable, still. BUT, the who knows how much sand on my back was not. Dang. ): I had not choice but to get wet! It was a little obscene cause you know, white and translucent and stuff. I didn't care much anyway. I wanted so badly to sun tan with Abby but the bikini top I brought was a little too thin for her. My bikini top was like, bright yellow with white floral designs. Heh.
I got stung by whatever was in the seaweed though. Three effing times. ): Oh and I almost forgot! ISAIAH THE UNCLE! His lenses were the transition lenses, whch means it changes to a pair of shades when under the sun. Then Abby and I kept laughing at him and how the transition lenses made him look uncle-ish. HAHAH.
Hmm, we stoned, camwhored, and got sandballed. XD
Isaiah was playing around and lifted the chair abby was resting on and I took this super funny shot of her. And of course, my sunnies. I think I look much better with them than without. ;D
Then Weien came after her practice with the bottles of drinks that Jie Ying asked her to buy, and her bread. After a while, she sort of like, shrieked cause apparently she wasn't the only one who enjoyed the bread. The red ants enjoy them too. So we helped to empty her bag and cleared the area. Caleb kept dissappearing now and then and after a while, Caleb dragged Isaiah off to somewhere and took hella long to come back. We thought they went on a date or something! HAHAH. But, they came back with a water gun in hand. well, Caleb did. XD Of course, he shot almost everyone with it. ): While he wasn't using it, I shot him, Issac and Tuck Yan. HAHAH. BEAT THAT YO.
After that, we some how got to discussing about BGRs and how my mom said that my future boyfriend must be a Christian, prefebly form my church. Then they were like, how about Shaun? Or Jacob? O,O
They were surprised to find out my age. They literally looked like this---> O.O Cause, I look like I'm 17, but I am honestly only 15. Cao lao. D: To put that in a nicer way, I look mature for my age. Since we were on the topic of BGRs Jie Ying was like, "How about Tuck Yan, or Yong Jing?" HAHAH. Imagine me with either one of them yo. HAHAHA. Though, I must agree, Yong Jing looks good with his six packs, but it would be much better if he had more muscel mass and not so thin. Heh. Tuck Yan has pretty eyes! Well, girl eyes! XD Same goes for Torsten! XD
And we felt kinda hungry, so we headed off to Koufu at the other beach. Torsten, Jingwen, and ahhhh what's his name came while we were taking the tram there. Well, it was Jingwen and what's his name. Torsten came after that, while we were waiing for the next tram. :D We ate, had fun and crossed the bridge! Of course, more camwhoring! That pig, Yunjie came later and told me that Tuck Yan was a huge eater and also, rather rich too. He ordered a bowl of udon and another bowl of noodles, while a was atrving like shit. I wanted to share with Abby anyway and didn't know I was that hungry until I started chowing down the food in record time. heh. Still slower than Abby though. XD
Koufu was enjoyable at first, with the air-con and stuff, but once it got cold, I just had to leave. I was shiverng in there yo! D: After that, since da shao ye wanted so much to cross that bridge, Abigail, Tuck Yan, Torsten, Issac and myself accompanied him. Boys being boys, (men in some cases) they just had to rock the bridge. I was having loads of fun, but Abby felt a little dizzy after that. HAHA.
While we looked at the scenary and talked crap, Abby and I found it weird that Tuck yan was sitting on the bridge we were standing on, forming a v shape with his legs. We were very curious about it(Curiousity killed the cat! O,O) and so, we asked. He said that if he were to look down, some voice at the back of his head will tell him to jump off, and he would just...well, jump. So, he refuses to stand at the edge of the bridge as he was afraid that he would succumb to it.
Abby! the definition of the word, 'succumb' is to give way to superior force; yield. :) You can roughly know the meaning of the word, after listening paying attention, you know? ;D
After which, we climbed to a higher ground and of course, Tuck Yan had to look away again. But this time, is was quite hard, cause it's like, all four sides. So, he decided to stare at the stairs. :) Poor him. Then we saw the most amazing thing ever. Far away from us, we saw dark clouds and we could actually see rain. As in, not rain drops but, we could see where it was raining. Ah, it's hard to explain without pictures. As the saying goes, a picture can tell a thousand words. ;D So, we rushed back to our bags, took a last group picture (it started to rain then) and ran like the wind to Koufu. Tuck Yan said I could run. Yay! I feel happy. Even though I was focusing on getting to Koufu that I didn't care to reply. So, THANK YOU TUCK YAN! :D
Hahah. Guess what? Issac actually borrowed a mirror to comb his hair. OMGOSH. AHAHA. Then Torsenten lent Issac his Iphone to use as a mirror. After seeing all our expressions, Torsten said, "Every pretty boy knows that the Iphone is more of a mirror than a phone." Oh wow. Didn't see that one coming.
After seeing what Issac did, I just couldn't resist taking out my mirror and comb too. My hair was in a mess. ): Tuck Yan's expression when I took my mirror and comb out---> O.O His mouth was opened in a big oval. HAHAHA.
We stoned and waited for the rain to stop. And then, Torsten decided to tell his leng xiao hua. Also known as Cold jokes, since it's raining and stuff. Oh wow. =,=' For example, Which part of your body can you organize? Your nails, duh. Reason being because you can file them. =,=' I was too wet to even think properly and you know how much I hate it when it rains. Thunder, lightning and such. Then there were more like, which part of your body can you find Micky Mouse in? This knee(Disney). Or which part of your body is unecessary? Your waist(waste).
Oh and ahaha. This one. Which part of your body loves to talk back? Your nose and butt. ('No' and 'But'.)
Yeah. He continued this until we reached the toilets and we girls decided to change at Vivo due to the uber long line. Then we started talking about guys being vain. HAHAHA. All guys are vain yo. Then we cracked a joke about those guys who keeps a mirror in his back pocket jeans. When they walk pass by something reflective, they whip out their comb and starts combing their hair. HAHAHA.
Yunjie, that zombie pig(He slept late and came uber late and looked so much like a zombie) thought we left and tapped his card. He went up and found no one, so he came back down. XD Once at Vivo, we changed and YJ and I left first. I felt super tired, even though we didn't do much. D:
got home, and left for dinner, then attended my uncle's funeral. I was seriously become a zombie. Played Dai di with Xiao Xiong(no, not little bear) my sis and my brother. The person with the most number of cards drinks a cup of water. I felt very restless and just wasn't in the mood to play, so I left the game and Kong Long took over. In the end, my sister drank FOUR cups, and my brother, ONE. HAHAHAHA.Joke of the day yo. XD
Yes, Hi. If you hadn't noticed, I actually went to visit you some time after that accident happened. On the 29th of November, to be exact. To be able to see you after so long, and in that state, it really pains me to see you like that. We may have not noticed each other in sec one, even if we did, it was to annoy the heck out of each other. We may have been best of friends with Shanthini in sec two, when we were so close that if you found one, you would find the other two. We may have not been so much of best friends this year, or even though we hardly talk...
YOU were one of one of the greatest friend in my life, and I'm glad to have known you. YOU were the one who I poured out my feelings to, you were there when I needed some one..to just be there. You were the one who added colours to my life, without even knowing it. You kept saying that nobody likes you. To hell with that. Just...slow down and look around you, my dear Shannen. Just look at the number of people who came to see you and wrote in that notebook of yours!
Do you know how we all felt when we saw you lying there, like a lifeless doll? I almost cried when I saw you, but no. I had to hold back the tears. "Not now," I told myself. I was even glad to see you, ALIVE for that matter. Your wife, Jake and Shanthini and well, EVERYONE whom you have ever known is still waiting for the good news. The day when you wake up. The day that you realized that everyone who you have met is loving you into bits. All of us, we miss you Shannen we really do.
And, today is your Birthday, your 15th Birthday. I was hoping that you would wake up today, so that we all can say a big "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" to you. I'm sorry to make all of this sound so depressing, when it is suppose to be a joyous occasion. My deepest apologies. I am just happy that, you came into this world, on this very faithful day... and I miss you a lot. A LOT. A. LOT.
hearts, Hearts and MORE HEARTS for you, from yours truly, Melina ♥
I woke up and was freezing like never before. Then I notice that I hardly even moved during my sleep. No wonder I've been feeling rather stiff for the past few mornings. Usually, I would wake up from my deep slumber if I have to, either to slide under the covers or get a drink. When I woke up this morning, it felt like as if I hit the pillows just minutes ago, and my alarms were annoying me to death.
I really wanted so much to sleep... to dream. I have been dreaming a lot for the past few days. Only thing is, that I can never seem to remember what I dreamed of, no matter how much I wanted to cling on what was left. Unfortunately, I could only lie in bed half a sleep for a while. By 30 minutes I would be up and ready to wash up, no matter how tempting the bed was. It was cold...and I like the cold. It reminded me of my trip to Korea.
Since I took half an hour to get up, there wasn't much time left for me to prepare. I brushed my teeth fiercely, trying to rush to process. But as I turned on the shower, the warm water felt so good. Showers could never be rushed, unless there wasn't any warm water. As much as I like the cold, I never like showering in cold water. Never at all, unless I really have to.
Then I was in a dilemma. I was choosing weather I should were a nice shirt, similar to the ones I wore on Sundays or just wear my home stuff. My mother rushed me enough to make me notice that I was wearing my air force shorts and that doesn't seem to match with nice shirts, so i just went along and picked out a home shirt that my dad accidentally ironed.
We left the house just in time to make it for my tuition at Ben's place. Tuition was not all bad. He was going through what was left of the topic Indices today. But I wouldn't agree so with the amount of homework he gave. It was more than 10 pages, I assure you. I heard Veron counting it aloud as she ticked the pages. Not only that, there was also homework for Quadratics. These were given to us as revision for the upcoming test on Wednesday. And he expects us to complete the homework by then. Oh the joy.
It was still raining then, and my parents called Ben. I was quite surprised by it, as they hardly call if tuition was held in the morning. They would arrive at his place in about 15 minutes. Saved by my parents. (:
My parents were out having a picnic today with their friends, but they had to end it as the wind was unbearable. Seriously, how much damage can winds cause anyway? It's not like it was a hurricane or something. If I were them, I would just stay at Changi Beach and enjoy the wind. It's not everyday that the temperature drops.
After that, I got my lunch and we headed home. I honesty didn't want to have lunch. I wasn't even a tiny bit hungry, but she kept stressing that dinner would be late today. Only half an hour later than usual. Besides, I had dinner later than that before. Once lunch was over, I went to hunt for the laptop to read New Moon. I'm rereading Twilight again for the fun of it, so, don't you dare call me slow. I just finished New Moon too. I would carry on to read Eclispe but if did, the sec three shirt design wouldn't be done then. ):
Oh well, that's it for now. I doubt anything exciting will happen later, so this should be the last post for today. I can only use the computer or laptop until 10pm anyway. Either I live with that or I get banned from it.
Heh, I usually update when I have tuition so, yeah. At least there's something to blog about.
Today could be summed up with just on simple sentence...
TODAY WAS THE BOMB YO. ;D
Waking up for school was easier than I expected, since I had another late night frantically trying to find someone to print out my research. Unfortunately, all my classmates who were online had some problem with the printer. Either it ran out of ink, or worst: they don't even own a printer.
Thanks to John who prayed for me, the meeting turned out rather good, with my mentor helping me with my research, giving me more guide lines. I'm not sure if he prayed for a good night's sleep, cause I REALLY did had a good night. :D
After the meeting, Brenda, Nurini, Michelle, Cleris, Ameera and I went out to celebrate Cleris's 15th Birthday. Starting off with lunch that is. You have no idea how hungry I was by then. After lunch, we head over Bugis after saying our goodbyes to Michelle. Things got bad when it started to rain. Not only did we not have enough umbrellas to keep us dry, I started to feel nauseous. No thanks to all those weird smells mixed together all at one and thrown at me like a stink bomb.
Never in my whole entire life-and I really mean WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE- had I felt so nauseous. That kind of changed the mood for the rest of our shopping trip. At least Cleris was happy. (: Of course, after all the shopping we did, we just had to cam whore! And what better place would it be than CHIJMES! It was near by, so who cares. Just as we waited for someone to walk pass by to help us take a photo, we bumped into our seniors who just gradutaed. Now, HOW COOL WAS THAT? We took a couple of shots, with almost everyone saying how fat they look like, followed by the embarrassing-yet-fun-to-do jump shots. Cleris got so excited when during the whole jump shots time. HAHAHAH.
After that, it was close to six and I was really feel bad now. So, Cleris and Brenda headed off to Suntec while Nurini, Ameera and I headed back home. HAHAHA. Ameera the bimbo! ;D "I don't want to get wet! My hair will start to curl!" LOL. And she swung Cleris's blue umbrella like a deadly weapon yo. XD
I said my goodbyes to Ameera and Nurini as I was heading to tp and they were heading to who knows where. The moment I got to tp, I really had to puke. I thought a few mouthfuls of water might help it but surprisingly it made it worst. I ran like a mad cow, not caring how untidy I look. I honestly needed to puke. But by the time I got to an empty cubicle, it stopped. Oh wow. I felt much better as I left the toilet. A miracle indeed.
Thank goodness there was a glass wall that I could use for support as I made my way back to the bus stop near Cheers. I quickly snagged the first seat I saw and took slow, deep breaths while looking down, using the poster container as support. Stoning came naturally after that, until the point that my dad had to horn to knock me out of the trance. I got in and immediately tossed my bag to other side, laid down and used it as a pillow.
I sent a message earlier to Abby and Tuck Yan, saying how nauseous I felt. Abby was used to my random-ness and asked what happened. (: Thanks for your concern babe. :D However, Tuck Yan's reply was the exact opposite. He said he would take ten years to get used to me random-ness. HAHAH.
Oh well, this was a really scaled down post. I left out quite a number of stuff, but yeah. Had to keep it brief as I can't stop my cursor from inching closer to the tab with New Moon. :D Goodbye and goodnight to all!
Deadly Vampire by night, lifeless Zombie by the morning.
Look's like I would have to rush my research. I'll try to make it as interesting as possible. Well, I said I would TRY. Miss Diana Rizk is the hardest to look up on. As for the rest, I haven't even touch them one single bit.
After which, I would lose myself in New Moon. I just can't stop reading once I started, and that only applies to a good book. :D
I just can't seem to blog properly now, so, what you see here is just random bits of what I'm currently thinking of. (:
AHHHHHHH~ TUCK YAN. STOP MESSAGING ME WHEN MY PHONE IS UPSTAIRS CHARGING AND I'M DOWNSTAIRS TRYING TO FINISH MY DINNER! D:
Ah. I feel sick. ): Thank you Tuck Yan for making me run up and down, right after I had my dinner.
Hmm, yet another ordinary day I guess. Woke up and started the day off with a lil jogging, feeling very fat and very dissapointed to how unfit I have become. I ran 10 levels around the block and was very dissappointed with myself when I was panting like a dog when I haven't even completed it yet. The first time I tired, I only felt breathless when I was halfway through it the second time.
Oh well. I did annoy a number of people today, asking them about the Mini Echo that Abigail and I had decided to organize. It's just that...they aren't replying and I'm getting frustrated. A"yes" here and a "no" there, and some "maybe" and "probably". I mean, It's only a simple reply. If you can't reply now, at least tell me so. Don't leave me hanging.
Now, just make sure yall reply by the latest, and I really mean it, LATEST by the 10th.
Opps. There wasn't anyone to distract me. I have a problem with my temper at times, so yeah. Currently watching videos related to Twilight. Oh well. ):
Woke up reluctantly when my phone alarm rang. It was time for tuition, again. It's not that I loath tuition, it's just that I've been having so many late nights. I need my sleep, seriously. At this rate, I'll be a walking Zombie in the morning and a hungry Vampire at night. HAHAHA.
Gimme my daily dose of blood and I'll be happy. Heh. Just joking, although it would be superawesomely cool to be a Vampire. Too much Twilight, that's for sure. :D
Okay wait, now I know how Bella feels when Edward dazzeled her-although I'm not hyperventilating- poor Bella. Eek. Ah, give me some time to unscramble my thoughts. Hmm, we spent some time finishing the homework he gave us the previous lesson, which I rushed through and tried to pay attention while he went on about Complex roots. Indices was up next, the topic that I struggled so much with last time was now a breeze. There may be tonnes of laws but heck, we covered only a few today. Piece of cake.
The homework he gave us weren't that bad, I guess...
Lesson ended and guess what? Stupid me forgot to top up my ez-link card, so I was forced to walk home. By then I was quite far from Ben's place-near the overhead bridge-, so I gave up walking back. Instead, I back tracked a little and crossed to the other side of the road, made a sharp right turn and headed straight. I estimated the time to get home, taking no more than half an hour. Or 20 minutes.
Walking home from Boonk Keng wasn't that bad, however, I regretted not learning the shortcut my Mother told me about. Sure, it was quite dangerous-according to my overprotective Mother- but I would rather take a risk than walk who knows how far back home.
I got home around 12 plus, and headed straight for the computer room after placing my-previously my sister's- bag on the chair to the usual. You could call that procrastinating. I know, it got worst when the Holidays started, and I can't stand myself. I hate that part of me. Just hate-hate is a strong word, that I know- it.
Used the computer until it was about three, and my Mother came out of her room, yelling at me to take my lunch now and she threatened me by saying that she would forbid me to play the computer forever. OUCH.
After lunch, I was being a good girl and stayed away from the computer. I was weirdly atrracted to the book Twilight and I couldn't resist it anymore. I picked the book up and walked into my so-called sanctuary, the computer room. I read till it was time to shower, then dinner time and now, I'm back here.
Oh well, what the heck am I doing here then? Must fly. Looks like late nights and me are stuck together like super glue.
Thanks to him, I can now freely use the computer and print like nobody's business. Global Village project research is finally on a GO!
Now, let's make it brief. I still got plenty of other things on hand.
The moment I woke up this morning, after my half awake self hit my phone to stop it from ringing, turning around making sure that my sister is still sound asleep, I headed downstairs to continue my wonderful journey ahead with Bella and Edward. Do those two names ring a bell? Well, they are the main chracters in the book, Twilight.
Thanks to that book, I couldn't peel my eyes away from it till 3am this morning. After realizing that my body couldn't take it anymore, I went to bed to end the day. Reluctantly of course. Slept soundly till 8am, which means I got only five hours of sleep. Surprisingly, I was wide awake, refreshed, even so to say. After washing up, I ran down the stairs and plonked onto the oh-so-comfortable sofa. With my hand flipping to the page which I stopped last nigh...five hours ago.
I read non stop from eight in the morning till about two in the afternoon. Each time I looked away, I had to readjust to my surroundings. It had ben a long time since a lost myself in a good book, so, why not now? The love story between Edward and what's her name again? Oh, right, Bella was simply amazing. Such love could only exist in books and never, no matter how much I wished for it to come true, never in real life. Dang, how I wished that there were really vampires roaming around. How I wished edward was real, and not just another storybook character that some girls crush on.
Anyway, I shall be nice and not spoil the story for all who are reading. If, there are any readers. I wasn't stunned by the fact that I need the dictionary here and there, knowing that my standard of English wasn't even near to excellent. It was hard though, breaking away from the wonderful story, plunging back into reality once more. I always like that feeling. I hardly felt that anymore with most books, and I applaude Stephenie Meyer for being able to do that.
Ah.
"Distract me, please"
"I'm sorry, what?"
*exhales sharply*
"Just prattle about something unimportant until I calm down."
I am rather annoyed by the constant buzzing from the fan, but I'd suffocate in heat if it wasn't there. Also, the noisy tele, playing a cartoon's theme song. I seldom could find a quiet spot around the house to do my reading. Once I start, nothing can ever stop me, unless it's my parents or myself. I'm currently trying to get the other books as I simply can't stand the suspence any longer. See that conversation up there? It has been, by far the only conversation between Bella and Edward that I can remember fully, and it applies to my current mood.
Okay, let's not sidetrack too much. Pastor Teoh came while I was alomost done with my book. And after those gruling hours of trying to fix the problem with the computer, he finally did it. Three cheers for him! Finally, not only can I blog, Facebook, sent emails, start on the project and go blogskin hunting peacefully, I can finally chat with my friends on MSN.
Although it may be who know's how old that MSN messenger might be, I'm just glad that I'm able to chat with them once more. Once again, a big "THANK YOU!" to Pastor Teoh, for giving me back my other source of cheap joy. Still, books are the best things.
Speaking about books...
Books, are known to for it's many good things, yet, people seldom notice how deadly a book really can be. Not in the sense that it can be used as a weapon, if that's is what you are thinking. I mean, sure. Reading books are good for the soul-call me a book worm if you want, as if I care- but there comes a time when it is impossible to put a book down, no matter how you tried. Even if you succeed the first time, that doesn't mean you'll succeed once more.
A book can throw you off schedule, a book can make you sit all day and not care about what's going to happen, a book can help you gain more weight than you ever wanted, a book can make your skip meals-I skipped lunch today-, a book can do many things. A book can kill, as a matter of a factly.
Oh well, 'mind over matter'. Yes Edward, mind over matter.
'Each time, his beauty pierced me through with sadness.'
is tired of running away from you. is tired of running away from the memories you gave me. is tired is running away from your life. is tired from running away from everything about you and has decided to face it head on.
Feelings for you are still there, that I can't deny. I am not going to look back, that is for sure. I can't forget you cause I can't bring myself to do it, that is the painful truth. I will just face it head on, that is what I will and must do.

Hurray! At least I did some. :D
Alright, now lets rewind and remix to last Saturday!
Bash #2 was the BOMB! AND SO WAS BAND NIGHT! :D
BY POPULAR DEMAND, I SHALL SHARE ABOUT BAND NIGHT THEN. ;D
Okay, if I keep starting a new paragraph for each sentence, this post is going to be a long one, so I'll try not to. :) Anyhoo, I was slightly late for Bash #2 and it was rather funny to see Leonard fuss about the others being late. Heh.
We sort of mixed around with the awesome new comers and got into our oh-so-wonderful groups after most or all of them arrived at the Fu Tang. I was in Jolene's group! :D With us were her five school mates, Elizabeth, Maylin and I. The whole Bash #2 was like an Amazing race thing again, however, I am happy that they finally took it to a higher level. As in, usually we would venture around Toa Payoh and Bishan. That's it. But this time, we went as far as Orchard, Novena, Newton and Ang Mo Kio! Bishan was the usual, of course.
The most time consuming station was the first one as we decided to take the bus instead of the train. However, thanks to that longer-than-a-train-ride bus ride, we got to know each other even more and had fun cam whoring too! Xuewei's station was the thirst quencher station and also our wet game station. Thankfully, we are skilled people so only our foot wear got wet. In Elizabeth's case, S-O-A-K-E-D.
Next we made a trip down to Novena where we had fun with the camera and I took one of Na's fish thing that she bought. The last one. (oops) What?! I was hungry! D:
After which we headed to wei Xiang's station where we had to find his 50 cent coin in the huge grass patch next to the station as you exit right. How smart of them to put it in the most obvious place that we so didn't bother to check because it was so obvious that it would just be ridiculous of him to hide it there. Under the blue pipe/line thing. -,-
Then we rushed down to Orchard and memorized and sang the first verse of All I Want For Christmas is you with actions in public with Xin Pei video-ing us with my rocking 5mp cybershot Sony Ericsson phone, after which we took two awesomely awesome, totally original and full of creativity group pictures! :D
Then they made us travel back to AMK Hub to auntie you see!(NTUC). I bet they did it on purpose. They made us travel pass Toa Payoh and back again. D: That station was the other most consuming one though. We had to find prices of food items which some of it were unknown to us. And Bonnie met Martin, her friend. XD
Chiong back to Toa Payoh and searched the kindergarten rooms till we found Zhi Xiang who is supposedly the 'Wise Man'. XD BOO!( OUR AWESOMELY ROCKING SCARY GROUP NAME) left first, came back second. Rocking, no? :D
With our stomachs growling and tiredness taking over(or not) they finally started dinner while I changed into heels, a white spaghetti, a purple cardigan and black mini denim skirt. I ate till I was bloated and set off for my final destination(HAHAHA), MY SCHOOL HALL.
Band night was wonderful! All three bands performed so well, especially Catholic High Symphony band and CHIJ Concert band. Of course, the CHIJ Concert Band is second to none. :D Their music took me on such a wonderful journey, like you know when you read a book it seems like the moment you start reading, it transports you to an unknown place filled with wonderful things you have never seen before? And then you plunge back into reality when you stop reading? Well, I was taken on a enjoyable journey that ended with the wondeful sounds of the CHIJ Concert Band. Indeed, that was a concert that I'll never forget.
Not only that, it was a reunion night too, and yet it was a farewell 'party'. I got to meet all my ex band mates and my ex conductor, Mr Tan. Oh, how I miss the band days...
Farewell Mr Tan, all the best for your future endeavors. I thank you for giving me such happy memories of band, and also for helping me to become a better trombone player. (: Even though I'm not in band anymore, I still thank you for all you have done.
I may not have the power to grant your wish... But if I ever had such power, I would do so without a second thought.
'He gave you people around you who loves and is concern about you, which will help take away the pain bit by bit.'
'God will not end it for u like how you snap your finger, but He will mold you to be a person strong enough to resolve it.' Tuition took up my entire afternoon, not that I really mind. I wouldn't know what to do if I had nothing to do. Other than facebooking and blogging, but those aren't the things that would really make my day, you know? Not that tuition would, but it's good to exercise your brain every once in a while.
I just did. How about you?
Well, now that it's the 1st of December, I'm proud to say that I can really stop slacking and get started on the Global Village project. My friends would KILL me if I turn up this Saturday with nothing interesting on hand. Yes, not only must I do research, my final product MUST be interesting. Either that, or it can bore people to death. Funny how some people can spend so long and give such horrible results. Oh, yes. Almost forgot. Not only must the end product of my 5 day research produce interesting information, it must also be in depth. Not those usual copy and paste. You must really understand it.
Now my to-do list...
-Global Village Project -Come up with a draft design for the shirt and finalize it with the sec three's -Send in the shirt for printing and collect it latest by the 16th of December -Come up with design(s) for CCA board and finalize it with Rachel -Do up the board latest by the 12th of December -Send out invites to CAC CONNECT! Camp people regarding the mini reunion -Confirm the date -Confirm venue and time for the Sunday Class Outing -GO TO SENTOSA AND CHILL. Either on the 11th or 15th of December. -Buy next year's set of books -Do Christmas cards and wrap gifts -SHOPPING for new year clothes
*sigh*
So many things to be done, so little time.
Hmm, I miss WG songs, but I need to transfer them to my phone, again. D: Need to get more DBSK songs.
