Shangahi was not too bad. Toilets are so not up to standard though. Can't even flush the toilet paper properly. So, they actually have this basket inw hich you can throw all your used toilet paper there, wghich eventually stinks up the WHOLE DAMN TOILET.

yeah. nanjing road was horrible. I actually fell down while jay walking with my friend. =,= NOT FUNNY YO. Plus, there was nothing that we could buy. As in, it's all winter clothes and they are all over priced. I mean, the stuff in Zara were totally ex. Lile there was this top which costs S$80 in SHANGHAI, but the same top costs $29.90 in SINGAPORE. Total rip off.

Pfft. Complaints complaints complaints. rah. Will tell yall more about it soon. Can;t wait for the yu garden bazaar! ;D

a HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL! ;D Yeah, pity that Val and I are in SHANGHAI, or we would be planning this oh-so-awesome class halloween party! Now, what's more depressing then that? Oh, yes, there are more depressing things. Firstly, no more HALLOWEEN PARTY for the next few years as we will be preparing for our terrifying O levels. Secondly, we'll be leaving SHANGHAI soon. Thirdly, I still feel awful about my grades.

Well, today was a rather sad day. We said our goodbyes and gave hugs. (even kisses~ heh) Coco and Val were the ones who cried the most, as for the past few days, they have been very close. VERY VERY VERY CLOSE. So, either you bond a lot with your buddy and risk a very painful farewell, or just not get close at all and treat it as school.\

I was kind of forced to choose the second option. I didn't want to cry too much, but that would mean that I didn't really made a like, close friend in the school during this twinning programme. However, one thing's for sure, I did became good friend's with Emily's buddy, TRACY! She's funny, smart, pretty and well, council material! Though agressive, yet has that cosy, warm, family kind of thing. I miss her oh-so-much. Emily actually teared while Tracy and I just made those crying sound. Just to let you know, we didn't cry. Though, Emily said that Tracy sort of lost her appetite during lunch, reason being that she was sad about something.

Such a sweet girl indeed! She actually gave me her favourite pen from Japan! It's this adorable lil Minnie surfer pen, pink in colour and a flower on top which I found very useful. Why? It stops it from rolling off the table! FINALLY, A PEN THAT DOESN'T ROLL OFF THE TABLE!;D Heh, oh and she's loud too~ We asked her to call her class out and she really did, in a very... erm. Okay, it's kind of hard to describe as I don't really have a wide range of vocabulary. Will let the people I know hear the recording I took. :D

Oh, next we went to the science and technology museum(sp?). It was so fun! My memory almost ran out though-hint, hint, 2 gig memory stick please!-. Emily, Jia Yu, Cheryl, Tricia, me and some other people formed a group of six. Though, I took too long to get a clear shot that Tricia, Cheryl and another person left. So, Jia Yu, Emily and I braved the rainforest and the other thing. We had tonnes of fun in the mesuem, althoguh we wished that more time was given for us to explore the whole place. D:

Hmm, dinner was saddening too. Well, the food was great but our tour guide, xu lao shi was leaving. Yet another depressing thing to add to the list of depressing things that happened today. We took a photo with her! :D Just to let you know, my zi pai-ing skills are A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Sad songs were being played the whole time. Like, OMGOSH, stop making this any sad-er.

Hmm, then Cheryl taught me how to play the card game 'goldfish'. A very fun game indeed~ Now, Ashley, Cheryl and I are currently using the computer now. Except, I'm leaving as soon as I check a few more stuff. XD

Actually, this post was going to be another meme, but I figured that I'd rather do a normalpost instead as my phone keeps auto changing the theme.

Well, currently using the laptop in my Brother's room as my parents and sister decided to watch that horror movie, Rule #1. Being a rather timid girl, I am afraid of watching horror movies. So, after making sure that my dad paused the movie, I rushed all the way up here. Now, I'm too afraid to leave the room. :(

Hmm, today was another alright day. The alumni came over and shared their life in CHIJ and what they did after they left. We also discussed about the oh-so-awesome project that we are going to do. Shhh, IT'S A S-E-C-R-E-T. Yvonne was the funniest of them all. Now, take a calculator and press the numbers 1, 7, 7, 1, 5, 5 and the letter 'U'. Heh, it spells 'miss u'. That was how they used to communicate with each other while using pagers. All those codes and whatnots.

After that, I went to Takashimaya to meet Cleris and Val Wong. Since the train takes so long to travel from Clementi to Orchard, I had enough time to get lunch and walk into some shops like pull and bear, Zara, etc. I saw this really nice pair of jeans at Zara. Fifty over dollars though. :'( I'm in desperate need of a pair of jeans. Thankfully, Cleris was being such a DEAR and asked if I could fit into her pair of jeans which was loose for her.

Then we headed off to Art Friend to buy Val's Christmas present. Heh. It' some stamp thing. Like, you drip the wax and take the stamp and place it on the wax before it dries up. Exactly like the Hogwarts thing, except instead of the Hogwarts school logo, it's the letter 'V'. We then took the escalator down to Kinokunia and browsed some books.

Then we went to Cotton on, Forever 21 and yeah. Finally, to FOX where I bought a a pair of knee high socks for the Shanghai trip. Val offered to lend me her money(So did Cleris, but not at that point of time) so that I could buy it. THANKS HONEY! ;D Been looking for a nice pair of knee high socks, and I finally found them at FOX. Quite costly though. 9 bucks~

Next was erm, I forgot. Heh. But there was this little girl who stood at the entrance. Cleris thought it was a mannequin(wrong spelling for sure) and got shocked when she moved. The clothes there were nice! Well, to sum tat partup, it is better to have a baby girl than a baby boy. That would mean, SHOPPING, SHOPPING AND MORE SHOPPING! :D

Yeah. Took the mrt to Novena and said our 'Goodbye's to Val Wong. Then Cleris and I went our separate ways after taking the escalator up.

I looked up to the sky and saw clouds, not those white cotton candy-like puffy clouds, but those dark grey clouds. As f it was some warning.

I knew, that something bad was going to happen today.
Today was the checking of scripts. Once again, I was right. Though to blame God would be the easy way out, but that would be ridiculous. I blame no one else but myself. I brought this upon myself. I have to suffer the consequences.

My results are pretty bad. A pattern, you see? The people who did rather well, or did a fantastic job for mid years had not so pretty grades for End of years. Looks like I did burn out. I am satisfied with my English, though I could have done better. I barely scrapped passed a B4. After combining it with mid years, I only managed a pathetic 61. An improvement from last time but still...

Humanities were the worst. Never did I expect myself to pass on the dot for Social Studies and fail Geography. I dislike Social Studies and LOVE Geography. Surprisingly, I got 15/25 for my SEQ, although I could have gotten a few more marks if I finished the second part of the last question. SBQ was alright I guess. 10/25. A pass, which is good, since I wrote some crap here and there.

Really, I never expected this. Reading my book was the only way to stop me from bursting into tears. My hands were trembling and my lips were quivering. A few more words from Chelsea and you would see a waterfall. I practically enclosed myself in this invisible box. Trying desperately to block out all the noise and stuff.

As for Chinese, I almost passed. I just need 0.25 marks to pass. I totally screwed up my compo. I almost spazzed out when I saw my marks.

Yes, yes. If only she told me earlier that the tickets were to be redeemed today, we would both skip school and start waiting for Novena to open. ;D

Today was total madness. Joey and I were fangirling like nobody's business the moment we started talking about the WG and the tickets. Tickets to where you ask? Well, tickets to the one and only Kpop concert yo! ;D We got it off cheap at 30 bucks.

First we wanted to leave the school at 11, just before the talk and immediately after recess. So, we came up with a beg and go idea to get to Novena asap. During our so called free period, we sort of begged Mr Lim to let us leave at 11am. the convo can be found at Joey's blog. Too lazy to type it out.

Anyhoo, we bought stuff from faceshop. Dang, the shops nearby the counter are making loads of money. Most of them had the faceshop bag in their hands though. XD When we got to the counter, we almost died. Like, SERIOUSLY. Cause it was actually $60 dollars in ONE receipt, and we thought it was $60 for ONE ticket. We totally freaked out yo. We thought we had to spend another $60(Which means the total would be $120, if you can't do the math) to get another ticket. The wonderfuls who were behind us were shocked too when they heard it.

BUT, it as actually $60 for a PAIR of tickets.(Silly us) So the oh-so-kind wonderfuls helped us by persuading the lady to combine both receipts. :D THANKS OH SO MUCH!(even though you may or may not see this)

Been gaming for the past few days! :D
Finally, I completed God of War 2. I'm so proud of myself.(HAHAH) I only used the faq mostly during the end of the game, with all the annoying mind bogging puzzles and bosses. The sisters of fate were one of the best boss fights I've ever encountered. They tested my reaction time and focus, they tested my determination and patience. All and all, I finally did it. Heh, fine. I did read through the faq for that part.

Though the last and final sister was a little tough. I was kind of lost when the faq mentioned the pendulum. I mean, the pendulum WAS there. I was just being stupid I guess. HAHAH. Well, come to think of it, the only tough part was the puzzles and her little(NOT) hands that kept whacking me. Stunning them caused me my magic. ):

OH! Then there was Zeus. Four phases to defeat him yo. After reading through the faq, I finally killed him. Dang, ALMOST.

When I was about to deliver the final blow to Zeus that would once and for all put me into ease, Athena(why must you sacrifice yourself for Olympus?) came in and the blade of Olympus went through her. She said that Zeus had to live in order for Olympus to prevail. It was fear that drove Cronos to imprison his children in his belly, the same fear that drove Zeus into wanting to kill Kratos, his son. She went on to saying that no son should kill his father, so on and so forth.

Still, I have the titans on my side. Gaya and company. ;D

God of War 3, here I come~

I'm currently replaying GOW 2(bonus play, so now Kratos is currently wearing the Hydra armour) to max out my other stuff, like the spear and that oh-so-useless hammer. Both the spear and the hammer's level two. I've been using a combination of Athena's Blades and the Blades of Olympus. They so rock yo. Thanks to 'divine sacrifice', maxing out the Blade of Olympus turned out to be pretty quick. I was totally O.O when I saw the number of orbs needed to max it out. Weird number though. 24,973 orbs.

Who knew those little flying things could have so much orbs?

Honestly speaking, I couldn't really worship the Lord today.
All the excitement seems to be affecting me, yet, it doesn't. I'm officially Holiday deprived. I'm unable to go out unless it's with my church friends. My computer found the right time to break down.

I'm just glad hat I have my PS2 and my books. :D GOW 2 totally rocks. Come on, I know what yall are thinking. How can such an innocent looking girl have such a mad love for all things gory? Well, just so you know, I'm highly influenced.

...BACK TO WORSHIP...

During praise and worship, many things kept running through my mind. All those questions just kept popping up, to the point that I'd actually build an invisible barrier around me. To shut out all that may distract me from my trail of thought. I had not been reflecting much lately, with all the exam stress. QT seemed like another lost piece of the puzzle to heaven that I'm trying so hard to complete. my bible was no where to be found, so I just left home with a bible-less bag.

For once, it felt light. It's like us Christians. I mean, it s indeed not easy to be one. With the ten commandments as our guide/rule book in life. Breaking one would mean breaking all. The cross may sometimes be too heavy for us to carry, to finish this race. We would often find ways to make the load lighter. I remember during one of the sermons there was this video that really touched me.

A video of this little stick person, dragging the heavy cross that was on his shoulders. Winter passed, so did spring, summer and autumn. He was exhausted, so he decided to cut a little piece of the cross away. Soon, this became a habit. Then it came to point of time where there was this cliff. The gap between this stick person and the other side was almost the length of the cross. The other stick people had no difficulty in crossing cliff.

However, that little stick man found out that his cross although may be light, but it was short. So he just stood there and wept. Just then, a hand came down, the hand of God. He gave the stick man a new cross, so that He was able to cross the cliff and continue his journey.

Our God is an awesome God.

I felt really disconnected with not only God, but with everyone else.

I totally screwed up my favourite question, the one on deprecation and disposal. Dang, why must they change the sentence structure? Even Val said that she had problems understanding that part.Plus, I stupidly thought that it was 7/12 when the question clearly stated that Guess bought two machines at $15,000 each on 1st July. Dang.

Although I'm rather proud of myself that I got the prepaid insurance correct. Accrued/incurred insurance sounded funny, so when I re-read the question once more, I realised that it was prepaid. Hurrah.

Oh, and question 2 of section A totally sucked.It was on capital and revenue. I so totally wanted to study that but something made me reach out for the accounting concepts notes. Nothing went in anyway. Rah. I just lost an 'A'. Sorry mom. :'(

hmm. After PoA, Val and I did art from that time till about 6pm.
Dang, not going to sleep tonight. Warning: Don't irritate me tomorrow, I'll just snap. Let me get some rest first or I'll go hyper on you.

Today was a pretty awesome day. The last two stressful papers are over, and I got to experience a lil holiday kind of thing as I walked round taka. ;D I finally got my box of awesome colour pencils from art friend. Pt that couldn't find the same exact box of colour pencils Ms Low has. Dang.

Oh well, I settled with faber caster instead. (: Thanks Kim for the money. You've been a great help. ;D

Anyhoo, back to the papers. It easy. I actually completed or almost completed both section A and B in half an hour. Suprisingly. And I thought that the paper would be tough, seeing that Mrs Chu actually sort of told us what was coming out. Well, not exactly She just told us to focus on a few topics. :)

Yeah Yeah. 3/5 got awesome teachers for the sciences this year! HAHAH.

Math was just frustrating. The paper was a lil challenging. I sort of forgot how to do the question on circles. No, I forgot how to do it, I didn't forget to do it. You didn't read it wrongly. hee~
There was totally not enough time, for goodness sake. I lost at least 10 marks in total. Crappy shit. D:

So, the other SEQ was on chapter 4. Dang it. D:
I mean, i roughly get what is going on. The gist of it. But to answer a SEQ with what I know, I would fail for sure.

Anyhoo, I realised that Biology and SS drained me, both metally and physically. So much to the point that I don't feel like revising but I have to force myself to do so even though geog is one of my favourite subjects. >,<

Oh, I owe my mother 998 ferrero rocher roses and Philip 996 ferrero rochers. He actually offered to help me eat ALL of them. The only problem is that I can only pass it to him when we see into each other during tuition, which is like, seldom. Hmm, or almost never. Looks like I'll have to find some container to store those ferrero rochers.

Hmm. I just asked Ms Low where she bought her colour pencils. I decided to do my final piece in colour pencils, with some water colours and a tad bit of high quality paint from Germany. :D It would take me more than three whole hours to blend all the colours perfectly.

10pm. Must fly.

GUESS WHAT?
The EOY examination stress finally got on to me. I'm stressed to the point that I actually cried.
I taught my friend how to blend the colours using colour pencils today. She told me that if she couldn't do it, she wold cry. Well, she did yesterday.

Not only that, I have such wonderful churchies who care so much about, well...everyone. :)
I just forwarded a message regarding how stressed out I was, and I got a few replies. I felt happy, for once. I hadn't felt that kind of happiness for quite some time now. For the first time, my mom actually said to me, "it's alright."
She said that the scholarship didn't matter much to her as long as I get a good grade for English. Now, I have to push myself to get 5 'A's no matter what.
I don't care about how much sleep I have now. I'm just going to study like nobody's business.

Although my humanities may not be as good as my dear sister's one, I bet that I could get a average score if I really try my best.
