I know, I just updated, but I want to do it again. I like recording every single important thoughts or things here. Despite the fact that it is very open here and just about anyone who has acess to the internet can read this, but heck. This is my blog and it will stay that way until it gets hacked. Then I'll create another one if that ever happens. the cycle goes on...

I just went to Ming's blog and saw something regarding worship this Sunday, and how she is the drummer for that service. I was -sad to say- glad that I wasn't the keyboardist for this Sunday. I mean, I am not GLAD because I don't like serving, and thus finding that 'me' and 'playing the keyboard' equals to a waste of time. I am GLAD because, yes I'm not serving for that service, because I have been discouraged by how I had played for the previous service.

Just yesterday I was practicing the Doxology, trying to get it right, only to remember that I have yet to receive a message saying that I'll be serving this Sunday. I was, relieved. I am afraid, yes, that is one thing that I cannot deny. I just feel that making mistakes would distract the others and also that I wouldn't be able to set the mood right.

I felt so depressed when I received the same cheery message from Suzanne-not that I don't like her, or dislike receiving cheery messages- saying that I had been chosen to serve this Sunday few weeks back. I knew what I played up there wasn't my best. I wanted to give my best to God, honestly and truly, I really do. But, my heart wasn't right. Hui Qi then shared with me what Leonard said to her once. About who were the ones judging us. the congre weren't the ones, it was God.

That encouraged me and gave me a confidence booster, so, I thank yall. And it was just before she left. Aww, how sweet of her. :D Hearts, hearts and MORE HEARTS FOR YOU!

Anyhoo, brain jammed. My flow of thoughts were disrupted by some other random thought. Oh well. This shall end here and now.

Something prompted me to open the prayer mail from Kendra. To tell you the truth, I hardly open them, not because I don't like to, but because I seem to open them late. She just sent it in 3 minutes ago(it's 1255). I saw the title and was somehow drawn to it. After the huge mass of email contacts, I saw this verse and what she thought about it.

Met at Little India to visit my poor friend, Shannen. Oh, and just a little side note to the NEW PAPER, her name is SHANNEN. Not SHANNON. D:

We went there, saw her for a minute, said a short prayer and wrote her a note. (: Then Abby and I headed off to catch a movie titled Cape No. 7 . We went into the theater with both our hands holding the exact same thing: A jumbo hot dog and a drink. :D I was hungry then, even though I ate a bowl of porridge at 12 noon. By the way, I LOVE MUSTARD!

I finished mine way before her, despite the fact that she said that she was hungrier than me. HAHAH. Then she was annoyed by the fact that I can eat so much and still look thin. Like, what the heck, I am so not skinny. Have you really LOOKED at me?

The movie featured two females by the name Tomoko. One of them who is a model but ended up working as a translator, while the other one was a 80 year old whose daughter worked at the hotel as a housekeeper and was found smoking in Tomoko's(the model/translator) bathroom while cleaning.

Most of the movie was about the 80 year old Tomoko and her lover, who wrote 7 love letters and kept them in a really nice black box with gold colour traditional designs on it along with a picture of her when she was young, standing at the beach. She was smiling, and her smile was so innocent, so pure, so full of youthful-ness and joy. (:

The letters were being read throughout the whole movie. Those wonderfully beautiful words, kept and preserved in brown envelopes, sealed with undying love.


Anyhoo, after the movie, we went walking around aimlessly in Plaza Singapura. Call it window shopping, if you want to. While we were looking at clothes, Abby suddenly held some up to me to see how I looked like in it. She kept saying that it was nice and that I'm skinny and stuff. D:I know you are just saying that to make me feel happy yo. ;D

Next, we went to Faceshop and Abby bought me a bottle of nail polish. That nice dark blue one. No glitters please. That's too SHINee. XD It was a Christmas present. Yes, I can be contented with such small things. :D

Later, we somehow found ourselves at Times and started looking at books, you know, Twilight and books written by Jodi Picoult. After which we went looking at those very adorable, very small and very expensive stuff, HAHAH. Followed by the very pretty yet expensive scrap booking materials.


I felt rather unwell and wanted to puke while on the MRT though. I blame the perfume section that we walked past earlier on. While I was showering, the smells of dozens and dozens of perfumes were still stuck in my mouth and my stomach. I honestly hate walking though the perfume section. No, I do love perfumes, but not too many at a go. I have this really nice one in a small adorable pink bottle but it has only a few drops left. The bottle is about 3 to 5cm long?


HAHAHA. Almost forgot. I watched Golden Bell Challenge on KBS world! Today's episode was very entertaining! However, there we no dares this week Two fridays back the dare was to do the Nobody dance on the next episode, while last friday's dare was to do the I'm Crazy chair dance! :D While watching it I was painting my nails, I told Abby and she called me a Bimbo. D:

HQ: I find painting nails so ma fan.

HQ: Why do you want to paint your nails anyway?

M: Because I want my nails to look pretty! <3

C: *starts laughing*

C: I'm laughing at you, not with you!

Then we all laughed and she continued with her story. Then she said something which I forgot that made me say this to her.

M: I'm laughing with you, not at you!

C: Woah, she learns fast!

Yay me! I've used that sentence quite a number of times, so yeah. HAHAH. Anyhoo, my nails are kind of screwed. So, I'm in desperate need of nail polish remover now. What do you expect form someone who painted her nails with colour for the first time? However, I didn't screw it up THAT much. I just went off a little. A LITTLE! Still, I SERIOUSLY NEED THE REMOVER. The Vampire Red one was spoilt. It was all sticky, so I had no choice but to paint Champagne over it.

Woke up rather early for math tuition today, but all my efforts were wasted when the bus came late. Being late for tuition for five minutes or so is still alright. However, being late fore 40 minutes, that is just horrible.

I honestly don't like waiting for people, although I think I am a patient person but making others wait for you isn't really nice.

Oh well, lesson learned. The early bird catches the worm then. (:

Math tuition was rather relaxing today as my tutor was going through one of the chapters that I was really fond of. Time really flies when you are enjoying what you are doing and soon it was time to leave with one and a half pages(three sides) of homework to do. -,- OH the joy~

Oh, and did I mention that I love Tuition Tea? Only the Kenna and Benjamin knows about that. HAHAH.

Must fly! Got homework and chores to do. D:

Today was just another ordinary not so tiring tiring day. I slept at two in the morning, after watching loveholic and 天国的树 . I heard that 天国的树 is a sequel to 天堂的楼梯 (also known as stairway to heaven). Unfortunately, both of them are shown rather late, plus I had a meeting this morning at 11am.

Speaking about meetings, I won't be free on the mornings of the 8th to the 12th of December. I'll be busy attending meetings regarding my CCA. Oh well, at least there aren't any homework to do just yet, other than researching on the famous people in Lebanon. (Psst! I heard that the guys there are hot! ;P) Well, looks like I won't be having much alone time during this holiday. Not that I mind, but it would be great to spend some time alone though.

Will be busy with tonnes of meetings, math tuition and the homework that comes from it, end of year evangelistic camp, shopping, sleep overs, Sentosa-ing with friends, Bash #2(this Saturday) followed by the Band concert in my school, and of course, loads of drawings to be completed and lets not forget CIP hours too. Oh, and READING. ;D

Ahhh. I found out not too long ago that Candy Candy has over 50 episodes. D: Looks like I won't be able to sleep much. With Dong Bang and music bank, who can? Oh, and I miss watching The Golden Bell Challenge. ): It;s such an enjoyable show to watch but I just don't know when it is on. D: I only know that it starts very late and ends later. ):

POST NO. 181.

Heyyy~ Yes, finally I got to my 181th post :D Guess what? According to my previous blog, I stopped at my 181th post too! How cool is that? Anyhoo, the sad thing is that...I don't really remember when I created my very first blog. However, I do remember how it looked like, although the picture had been taken down for a long time.

I remember the days when I would just sit back, relax and pour in my whole day there, down to every last detail that I could remember of course. All my posts then(yes, ALL OF THEM) were rather lengthy at that time, so I doubt many people read them. It was meant to be a diary anyway, I didn't really cared much about the number of viewers I got. I was just happy that I could at least tell it to someone. (:

Anyhoo, what's with the random flash back? HAHAHA. Well, YAY for the 181th post! :D
Hmmm, oh, happy belated birthday to my blog! Since my other blog totally disappeared from the cyber world, I shall take it that August 17th is my blog's birthday. (:

Hey yall! Sorry for not updating lately, reason being was that I had to go for my CCA camp. That wasn't the only reason though. Yes, it's confession time!

I about two weeks ago, I was really annoyed by the fact that I have received so many requests on facebook. Not only that, my friendster account got hacked which added to the annoyance. Even though I hardly even use friendster, the fact that my account got hacked is making me feel kind of uneasy and a little insecure. This wasn't the first time an account of mine got hacked but still, it is a problem.

Alright, back to facebook. I took two nights to accept, reject, and or ignore the requests that piled up to a ridiculous number of 200 over. Since, you know, facebook is rather or even very addictive to start with, I got hooked up. Morning to evening had facebook written all over it. Of course, I checked my blog regularly and reply the tags, as you can see. (: So, I would rather blog and watch Dong bang videos than facebook the whole day! Unfortunately, I'm dying to get in contact with my friends but the moment I log on to MSN, the laptop hangs. So facebook is the only other way I can stay in touch with my friends.

Now, the troublesome thing is, the moment I log in to facebook, I do all sorts of random stuff, so yeah. D:

Anyhoo, my past week has been a rather mundane one. The camp was alright I guess, but it irritates me so that the members are not cooperative. It is hard enough to plan for the cap, and now they are making it harder to have fun. Gosh. No offence though. I just want to emphasize on what our ex president said before she left. As in, she wont be able to make it for the following camps as she would be busy with her own life.

Now I know how the camp committee felt and I can bet for sure that they are having a harder time than us CCA committee members. Well, although not many people came for the camp, I am glad that we got to bond with some of the members. My awesome junior, Evangel and of course, Pei Shan and the rest. :)

All I'm hoping for is that yall would give us another chance to organize the camp in March and that yall would give us moral support and constructive feed back.

Now, the camp. Yes, the camp. The first day was the usual welcome party thing, where we got into out groups and welcomed the camp facils that will be helping the committee members with the behind the scenes and whatnots. The group that I was in was DA BOMB as we found our common interest in no time. K-pop. :D Yeah, DBSK fans, Big Bang fans, Wonder Girls fans, SHINee fans and yeah. :D Although I'd never expect Cheng Yi to be a Dong Bang fan. Neither did she knew that I was a Dong Bang fan too.

She kept hogging my phone as she wanted to listen to Mirotic. XD

Before we slept, we let them watch Scary movie 4 in the afternoon. XD It was sick and wrong yo.

Yeah, we told them where they were going to sleep and man, did they have it good! We committee members were being considerate as we didn't want to wake the rest up when we get up an hour early for the preparations. So, we slept on the hard concret ground in the classroom. That classroom's dustbin had a lot of ants, so Rachel, Pei Shan, Christina and I slept in the center of the room while the facils slept near the teacher's table and Wenjin slept on the tables. Angie slept on the LOCKER! Guess what? SHE DIDN'T ROLL OFF! HAHAH. If it was me, I would find myself on the ground by morning.

We woke up at 5am with aching bones thanks to the ground. It was so hot to the point that I took off my track pants in my sleeping bag.(I was wearing shorts inside, so don't think dirty.) Not only that, I tossed and turned tonnes of time between 3am to 430am. D: Day two was all fun and games. The wet games were THE BEST of all as, we got wet. HAHAH. Then we totally soaked Wenjin from head to toe. She got splashed with soapy water, normal water and water that was mixed with a little grass, colgate and coffee powder. In addition, we squeezed the remaining colgate onto her. XD

Thankfully, her house was just near by, so she could just walk home and shower or something. ;D
The night walk wasn't hat bad though, as we(Saji, Kaylyn and I) listened to Dong Bang music. Heee~ Yeah. Before that, Saji told us a few ghost stories about the previous ij school, the thomson one. Hmm, I shall not freak yall out here so, f you want to listen to it, feel free to approach yours truly. ;D

We slept awfully late that night, watching a japanese movie called Waterboys. It ended around one plus two and Pei Shan and I were sort of surprised that the other committee members and facils were still awake despite the tiring day we went through.

That night we slept really well but were reluctant to wake up at 7am due to our late night. ): I woke up at 7.05 but went back to sleep as I didn't see any of the others awake. Then at 7.15 Wenjin started tapping us. I went back to sleep. HAHAHA. Then at 7.25, she tapped us even harder and so, we were forced to wake up.

Went down and started filling the cups with milo like we did for yesterday and set out the spreads and bread. :) Then debrief and HOME!

Last night, I practiced the songs till 1230 am. I wanted to be prepared for it, since I had to start off the two Chinese songs. I then dragged(literally) myself up to the bed and within minutes, I knocked out. Then I woke up, thinking that there were still hours left till my alarm rang. I checked my handphone(Thank God that it still had about half a bar) and was irritated by the fact that my alarm would go off in a minute.

Although the alarm tone is Mirotic, My oh-so-favourite song, it still bugs me whenever I have to wake up THAT early in the morning. This has been, so far, the most tiring weekend ever. The pink numbers were screaming at me. 730am, it's time to wake up get ready and practice the songs til 945 later that morning.

My muscles were still aching from yesterday's amazing race during CG. Every step I took, I felt like running back to my bed and just lie there. The pain is much better now, although playing the keyboard made it slightly worst.

The Chinese songs were my first piority as I seriously had to get them right. Followed by the first song, then the second. Finally the Doxology. After playing a decent Doxology, I felt rather proud of myself but soon, that smile was wiped away the moment I though of how it was going to be like later.

Skipped prayer meeting. ):

When the class started, I then realised how much I missed when I was away. they actually covered the whole of James and were re-capping chapter five, the last chapter today. Jasmine talked about many things. Things that were unfamiliar and things that had my guilt conscience up and ready to go. We touched a little on swearing, on why we shouldn't swear. Sin leads to death eventually. Now, that's no shocker.

Next was service. Su was being a dear and prayed for me. Taking this time to reflect, I remember someone saying that serving is another way to get closer to God. But, what if, you just concentrate TOO much on getting it right? What if you HAD the right heart in the beginning of worship but changed and focused on playing instead?

I mean, it isn't wrong in wanting to give your best to God right? I was trying to hard to play 6 decent songs for Him, yet I found out one thing. The harder I try, the more I focus on playing, the worst I become. It's a fact. Just listen out to my playing and compare it to when I first started. I was filled with so much passion to serve God, whenever, where ever.

Yes, though I am still filled with the passion to serve God, I realised that focusing too much is not good, neither is focusing less. We need to balance it out and then we can serve God. In my point of view that is. Not only that, ever since I've stopped doing my daily QT from the exam period, I have this weird emptiness in me. The same exact one that I felt when I was sick on a Sunday and did not go to church. God is the one who lights my path and shows me the way. But, now I feel like a lost sheep. Standing at cross roads having no clue whatsoever of which path I should take.

Weird. Have I gotten so used to this feeling that I won't feel extremely confuse, break down and cry? That was the first time when I actually left God, and yes. I had mentioned it countless times here. *sigh* I really want to serve God, but I want to serve God with my full potential. I know that there are many, MANY people in this church who are way better than me at playing keyboard.

Hui Qi is that one person. Sure, she lacks confidence, but I do too. She would be an extremely good keyboardist if she is able to have more confidence. She took piano lessons and is much more experience in the chords and etc.

I feel real bad that I'm unable to play as well as the others, making tonnes more mistakes than ever each time I step up to play, and I feel very discouraged by it. I see myself getting from better to worst each time I'm on stage and Shaun has to keep helping me time and again. Today's worship was by far, the worst one. For me that it. There were emptiness, and when the band counted on me to fill it up, I my fingers just stunned and my heart started to beat rapidly.

The many pauses and mistakes really made me wonder how I actually came this far. Yes, I know it is by God, that he has bestowed me with such a gift, a gift of playing the keyboard. Yet if one receives a gift and doesn't put it into use, what good is it? *sighs* I really am very depressed by my performance today. Though I could worship Him during the easier songs, like Great awakening.

Doxology was the, fine.I wouldn't say the worst but it wasn't good. I could tell. I actually missed the first few chords as I needed some time to flip to the page which had the chords. Then Shaun started off first, thinking that I wasn't playing the doxology. I am suppose to have memorized it by now. Gosh, I feel like a failure.

And no, I really feel that I don't deserve your time that is taken out to encourage me, as I'm complacent. But, if I' not encouraged, I'll feel this urge to just give up. *sighs* Singing Christian songs always made it better. :)
